This medium-sized map is nearly symmetrical, with some variation between the far west and east spawns. From each spawn, you descend toward the lower middle ground or straight across through the upper Power Plant. – Gondola
Outside of this small mountain top powerplant are much larger snow-covered mountains and pine trees. The sky is dark, and no other civilizations can be seen for miles.
Use one of the many Gondolas to travel around the map, the Gondola will take you from one spawn to another. When using the Gondola be sure to remember that it will take you out of bounds. The Gondola provides great cover and long sightlines along with a good view into the power plant.
Ducks have been seen in many of the maps across Call of Duty Vanguard, on this map it can be found inside a locker in the west spawn area. Have you found them all?
During Nazi rule, a stylized eagle combined with the Nazi swastika was made the national emblem by order of Adolf Hitler in 1935, this national emblem can be seen hanging on the wall inside the main powerplant.
Many German posters are seen around the map, these can be translated to: “We will persevere together.”, “It’s Berlin where we will stop them!” and “Victory for the fatherland. The rich will prevail.”
Gondola is a medium-sized map with some of the best sightlines in Vanguard, use the cliffside of the map for snipers to long-range rifles and the mountainside for close-quarters battles. The map also has many pathways that come to a cliff, so remember to always watch your step!
