Fight in and around many old stone buildings located in Merville, France. Great for medium to long-range gunfights. – Merville
Many large rocks and trees are seen outside the map along with old brick fences and many other buildings, all under a dark cloudy sky.
Merville features lots of underground tunnels, flank enemies from one end of the map to the other or use the underground rooms to surprise the enemies running through the tunnels. The tunnels are great for close-quarters combat as the mainland offers mainly mid-long-range combat.
Players will find many operational vehicles around the map including motorbikes, jeeps and trucks, and even the Sherman Firefly, the M4 Sherman tank fitted with the British army’s 17-pounder (high velocity 76.2mm) anti-tank gun. This gave it the ability to engage and defeat heavier German Panther and Tiger tanks.
You can find the angel of sorrow statue on both sides of the entrance of the large, destroyed building. They are also known as the Angel of Grief.
