A timer counting down from 60 seconds will start when the match begins, the last few seconds will be heard from the announcer. After Zero a rocket will be sent up into the sky in the distance and hit by a kinetic rod causing it to explode. Some of the rocket parts will land on the map and killing anyone in its path. This gives players the same run and gun tunnels from Modern Warfare 2 map Scrapyard.

In the west laboratory you will find a button labeled “Hold to initiate rocket test”, doing so will cause the engine to fire and kill anyone in its path. This is a good way to keep enemies from flanking the right side.

You can find the Extinction Egg after the rocket changes the map layout, just look inside the underground tunnel and it will be sticking out of the wall. Players who find all four Extinction Eggs in each of Onslaught’s four DLC maps will earn a bonus 2000XP for completing the operation.
