Similar to its northern cousin, long-range loadouts such as snipers find the South Woods to be a desirable habitat. With a few noteworthy distinctions between the two regions, the devil is in the details.

The spacious field gains a chaotic play area thanks to the train crash. The wreckage extends over the center of the map. Since most of the railcars are accessible, an ambush may happen while traveling through the area, from beneath the bridge, or from along the creek.

Being one of two wooded locations, the North Woods will undoubtedly see a lot of long-range combat as snipers watch the tree line for potential foes. This kind of environment makes every boulder and tree trunk more significant.

There is certain to be close-quarters fighting in the two-story office building because of its cramped, narrow chambers. With its top story filled with windows offering views across much of the map, the operator stands to gain the most valuable asset. Identifying an adversary from a distance won’t take long, and shifting positions and seeking a new target elsewhere is a simple strategy if the combat heats up.

A major chunk of the northeast corner is occupied by the warehouse, which has catwalks and staircases leading to the second and third floors as well as climbable containers piled in the storage area. Take note of the second-level windows looking westward, which provide a view of the train platforms and office.

Though numerous openings offer views into the forest and rooftop access offers a view to the north, the railway town is mostly enclosed and not visible from the rest of the map. Two of the buildings along Main Street are traversable, while a third is located to the west down the road.

Tactical opportunities abound as the train platforms are positioned between the warehouse and the power station. With a superb perspective to the south, the elevated footbridge over the trains serves as the major power position here. Operators on the ground have good cover choices close by in the form of a variety of barrels, cars, and other supplies.
