With the exception of a small part exposed to the front entrance of the lodge, the Boathouse area is mostly hidden from view from the rest of the map due to its higher elevation. Although there isn’t much cover, you can still get some protection in an emergency from the strewn furniture and other cover items.

Another stronghold of power is the workshop, which is located at the base of the waterfall, across from the lodge. Though it has a more open layout, the bottom level has limited cover choices and a stairway that leads to a loft that faces the substation and the lodge on either end. Anticipate some interaction between this location and the lodge, and don’t be afraid to move to other apertures to confuse the adversary.

Notwithstanding its reduced height, which presents options for hiding under the correct circumstances, the middle waterfall and lodge path, which runs alongside the main road to the lodge, is exposed on almost all sides. Despite the lodge’s massive bay windows, it’s important to note that shooting from a steep angle makes it challenging to land pictures without bumping into or mantling into the window frame, which exposes one’s location to great effect.

In most matches, the lodge—the most recognisable location on the map—is a hive of activity. Large bay windows on the bottom level overlook most of the north, with the trees in Waterfall and the stone wall providing some blockage. To cover the garden and greenhouse, proceed to the space in the back of the structure that houses the kitchen and bedroom.

Towards the narrow greenhouse, the lodge itself, or the boathouse, may be reached via the backwoods, which go just west of the lodge and can be accessed by the lower game room door. It’s important to keep in mind that operators at the rear of the lodge can see everything going on inside, with the exception of a few cover pieces near the windows and the low brick wall that conceals operators from view when they’re in the prone position.

As operators manoeuvre around the large equipment during a skirmish, get ready for fierce ground combat; manage your fire to prevent ammo waste and having to reload early. To compel close-quarters fighting, enter the substation building that is connected, but be ready for an oncoming fire from its surrounding windows.
