A mercenary hideout built atop an otherwise peaceful town with a rich history, Fortune’s Keep is a completely original Resurgence map with a similar size to Rebirth Island. – Fortune’s Keep

Nobody spoke of an alleged mercenary hideout in the Mediterranean… most likely because they ended up captured or dead. But with recent intelligence, our Operators uncovered the lavish Fortune’s Keep, a smuggler’s paradise complete with a medieval barracks of historical interest, a massive winery, and a bustling yet quaint village by the sea.

outside

Outside of Fortune’s Keep is the Adriatic Sea, the northernmost arm of the Mediterranean Sea. Not much can be seen outside of this battle area. The sky is blue and the clouds are out with nothing but water to be seen for as far as the eye can see. That’s until the gas moves in!

start of the game

While you wait for the game to start, you can practice your aim on fellow players. Kills in lobby award XP and Weapon XP, so practice often. You will automatically redeploy if you are killed in the lobby. Get that XP or just relax and prepare for the real fight.

Fortune’s Keep map

The map is your guide to survival, showing you the location and path of the gas and also showing you enemy locations, squad locations, vehicles, buy stations, contracts, loadout drops, enemy killstreaks, and even the name of each area. When items get pinged, they will show in large on the map. On the right of the map, you will see the full legend to help you understand the locations of items. On the left, you will see the timer for the next or current circle collapse.

looting

You will find items in every location on the map, these items include weapons, ammo, cash, armor plates, armor satchels that allows you to carry extra plates, field upgrades, equipment including a heartbeat sensor, contracts, medkits, gas masks, and also loot boxes. The boxes can be found in different colors with a new box that can be reopened after a set amount of time.

Fortune’s Keep gas

The circle collapse is a poison gas that slowly infiltrates the map, shrinking the battlefield in random locations and damaging all in its path.

Fortune’s Keep vehicles

You don’t need to rely on your parachute or your own two feet to travel around Fortune’s Keep; you can use one of the many vehicles, just know that all of them will expose your position to the enemy with the loud noise of the engine and a red vehicle seen on the mini-map. Players also have the option to use a redeployment ballon that provides a safer travel method around the map.

Fortune’s Keep contracts

Contracts are seen in many locations around Fortune’s Keep, and completing them will grant you extra cash and some loot. All contracts are timed, so don’t waste them!
Bounty: Places a cash reward on a random player in the game and shows the approximate location of the player. As you get closer to the bounty, you will see the target location bar fill, and this also tells the enemy you are in range.
Recon: Showing a random location on the map that can be captured; this will show your team the location of the next circle collapse and provide a small amount of loot. Payers can complete this contract more than once and even see the last position of the circle.
Scavenger: Marks three to four locations on the map of loot boxes that can only be found using the contract. These loot boxes will contain anything found in the game.
Supply Run: Gives the player a set amount of time to get to a buy station, after beating the timer the play will get 80% of the cost of items at the buy station, this doesn’t include Loadout Drop but does give Self-Revive Kit for free.
Supply Drop: Airlift a valuable crate onto the map for anyone to pick up and only has its exact location revealed by the squad who picked it up. Other squads will know the location based on the green smoke that marks its location.
Big Game Bounty: Targets the Operator with the highest kill count on the map unless previously targeted, targets the next top player as each Operator can only be targeted once.
Top Secret Contract: Unknown Contract until acquired, after picking it up it will choose from all available contacts but grant the squad with a much higher reward.
Black Market Supply Run: The contract will drop a Black Market Buy Station somewhere on the map after it is accepted. The items in this buy station are rare items not seen in the normal buy station.

Munitions Box: Deploy a box of ammo and equipment for you and your teammates.
Recon Drone: Remote-controlled drone that marks enemies for you and your team.
