The Time Travel Will Tell Easter Egg is the main Easter egg on Shangri-La where the characters help two explorers stuck in a never-ending time loop.
Step 1: In the starting room with Quick Revive you can find four dials, one on each of the walls. All four players will need to activate each one at the same time. After completing the players will be sent back in time and the moon will be changed to an eclipse.
Step 2: Near the Pharo wall weapon a button will appear that will start the conversation between the two trapped people and the players, after the dialogue many magical plates will spawn on the ground outside of the main spawn area, 12 plates on each side.
Step 3: The goal is to make all 12 plates disappear; this is done by matching the plates on each side. Have one player on one side and stepping on the plate and announcing what the symbol is as another player looks for the same symbol. Both players must step on the plate at the same time. If one mistake is made all the plates will reset and if the matching is not done in time all steps from 1-3 will need to be completed again.
Step 4: Three players will need to stand on the pressure plate (the grate with water underneath) as the fourth player will need to go down the slide and activate the button on the side of the slide. After this step, the moons Eclipse should disappear.
Step 5: On top of the waterfall you will see a diamond, should it with the Ray Gun or another explosive, after it falls to the ground it will need to be shot with the 31-79 JGb215 (Shrink Ray) Wonder Weapon resulting in it shrinking, knife it to allow it to slide to the geyser causing it to launch onto a tower. If completed successfully, another diamond should spawn.
Step 6: A wheel can be found on a pipe next to the Pack-A-Punch machine, Turning it four times will result in the characters talking about the gas receding and many gas leaks around the map that cause the characters to start coughing.
Step 7: Lure a Napalm Zombie (fire zombie) through the cave, this will cause the gas leaks to catch fire. After everything is on fire a lever near the gas pipe wheel should be raised, active the lever, and the characters will talk about the floor being lava. This most be done before the Eclipse changes again.
Step 8: Travel back in time and go into the tunnel, four holes are now seen in the side of the tunnel that will need to be plugged with Punji spikes, place Spikemores facing the holes and get zombies to follow you through the tunnel. After completing go the bottom of the water and find a brick that is sticking out that says Do Not Hold and activate it, this will send players to the present and spawning a new diamond above the mud pit.
Step 9: Travel back in time again and find the same plates that are scattered around the map and match them by knifing them one match at a time. This will spawn snare trap outside of the map near the mine cart gate, blow it up with an explosive. If done correctly all players will spawn in the present time again.
Step 10: A radio can be heard stating a set of numbers, the radio is near the minecart gate on a box and the code is 16,1,2,3. This code will need to be used in the past again, Travel to the past and enter the mud pit temple and change the dials to match the code. The dial on the far right will need to be set to  ( [ | – ), the second one is found behind the first one and needs to be set to ( one dot ), next one is on the far left side from the eclipse button area and needs to be set to ( three dots ) and, the last one just to the left of the eclipse button area will need to be set to ( four dots ). This will spawn another diamond above the mud pit in the present time.
Step 11: While being in the present a radio near the stairs leading to Pack-A-Punch you can hear Gary talking about dropping his bag of dynamite, travel back in time, and find the bag hanging on the Focusing Crystal near the Mine Cart gate and Punji Stake tunnel. The crystal needs to be charged first, to do this the player will need to find four gongs that will make a noise when active, each gong needs to be active in order, this is done by activating each one and checking the Focusing Crystal to ensure it hasn’t turned red. Active all without making the crystal turn red. Once this is done, Treyarch’s Symbol will appear above the Focusing Crystals, which will all be glowing yellow.
Step 12: While still in the past, the player with The Fractalizer will need to shoot the Focusing Crystal above the mud pit temple. This will cause the beams of light to bounce along with the other Focusing Crystals and come back and knock the Dynamite off the Focusing Crystal. A player will need to stand directly below the Dynamite in order to catch it and if not successful you will be stuck redoing step 11. After catching the Dynamite the player with The Fractalizer will need to shoot the crystal again which will provide more power to the crystals resulting in 3 beams shooting the Giant 115 Meteorite to shrink and fall into the temple.
Step 13: The Pack-A-Punch machine has now disappeared and the player that caught the dynamite will need to pass it through the wall to Brock after a dialog is done all players will be pushed out of the room by rushing water and sent back to the present. Go back into the Pack-A-Punch room and the players will find a Focusing Stone floating in the center of the altar and the tapped characters will be set free.
Done: All players will unlock the Time Travel Will Tell achievement/trophy and the player that picks up the Focusing Stone will be granted with all 8 perks and not lose them even when going down. This Easter Egg can not be completed again if all four players have received a Focusing Stone previously.

blank

The Musical Easter Egg can be activated by finding all three Meteorites scattered around the map, first one can be found in the starting room near Quick Revive, second is next to the bridge near the moving walls and the last one is in the same room as Semtex. After finding all three the song “Pareidolia” from the Treyarch soundtrack will play.

blank

Play the Musical Easter Egg Samantha’s Lullaby, start with knifing the Gongs on the map and listen to see what 4 have a slightly different sound, after finding the 4 gongs knife only those 4 and head to the underground where you will find cooking pans hanging on the wall, shoot the first on 2 times and the fifth one once, after this a Samantha Doll will spawn on the ground near the minecart entrance, interacting with it will spawn 5 more dolls that need to be shot at around the map, just follow the music to find them. After shooting all of the dolls head back to the minecart doll and active it for a free Max Ammo and the song to start.
