Ancient Evil

Power-Ups include Insta-Kill: Allows all players to insta-kill all normal zombies, Max Ammo: Refills the ammo reserve of all held weapons for every player, Double Points: Players receive double the number of points for the duration of 30-seconds, Nuke: kills all zombies that have spawned onto the map, Bonus Points: Gives all players 500 extra points, Carpenter: Repairs all barricades around the map and refills the players shield, Fire Sale: Causes all box locations to be active and changes the cost to 10 points, Full Power: Gives the player that picked it up a refill on the specialist weapon meter.

Wall Weapons on Ancient Evil includes the Strife, Essex Model 07, Saug 9mm, MOG 12, Spitfire, Swordfish, Mozu, MX9, GKS, M1897 Trebuchet, Maddox RFB, KN-57, ICR-7, Vapr-XKG, Auger DMR, Titan, Koshka, and the Bowie Knife.

Mystery Box Weapons only include two wonder weapons, the Homunculus and the Pegasus Strike. Other weapons found in the box are the ICR-7, Maddox RFB, KN-57, Hitchcock M9, Rampart 17, Vapr-XKG, Grav, Swat RFT, Peacekeeper, AN-94, Echohawk Dual Bore, Escargot, MX9, Spitfire, Saug 9mm, GKS, Cordite, MP-40, Daemon 3XB, Switchblade X9, VMP, MicroMG 9mm, Swordfish, Essex Model 07, ABR 223, Auger DMR, S6 Stingray, M16, Titan, Hades, VKM 750, Zweihander, Tigershark, SDM, Paladin HB50, Koshka, Outlaw, Vendetta, Locus, Havelina AA50, Mozu, RK 7 Garrisopn, KAP 45, SG12, MOG 12, M1897 Trebuchet, Rampage, Argus, Hellion Salvo, Ballistic Knife, and the Reaver C86.

Players can turn the Power on by activating the Sentinel Artifact. The Sentinel Artifact is located in the Amphitheater of Ancient Evil, in the statue’s hand. When activating the Sentinel Artifact, the amphitheater will go into lockdown. Players will need to survive the zombie wave until Pegasus appears.

To activate the Pack-A-Punch Machine and upgrade their weapons, players must complete a small Easter Egg quest. First, the Sentinel Artifact must be activated. Next, players will need to collect the Golden Bridle in either the Intersection of Treasuries or Stoa of the Athenians area. When picking up the Golden Bridle, a Gegenees will spawn and players will need to kill it. Players will then need to take the Golden Bridle to the Spartan Monument area, and find the blue circle, to travel on the Pegasus. In the new area, you will need to find two birdcages in the Python Pass and Cliff Ruins area. Then use your ultimate special weapon to break each cage door to free the birds. Finally, you will need to meet the birds in the Center of the World area and protect the birds while they are destroying the red crystal, from zombies. After the red crystal has been broken, the Pack-A-Punch machine will spawn, allowing you to upgrade your weapons.

Gegenees are zombie enemies who can be distinguished by their 6-armed bodies. Gegenees will attack players at close range with their swords and spears at long-range. The spears are deadly and will explode on impact. When aggravated, they will charge after players and blind flash players nearby. Gegenees will typically spawn when completing Easter Egg quests.

Skeleton Zombies, also known as Spartoi, have red crystal-like material around their bones and glowing orange eyes. Spartoi can only be killed by a headshot and will resurrect if they are killed by other means.

Blightfathers are zombie enemies that transform from regular zombies. Blightfathers typically have yellow sacs on their body and long legs. They will attack players with a melee attack and a long-range vomit attack. To kill Blightfathers, it’s optimal to shoot their weak yellow spots. It’s also best to stop the zombie into Blightfather transformation altogether, with a special weapon, or by killing zombies quickly before the transformation starts.

The Apollo’s Will is a buildable shield on Ancient Evil that comes with an explode-on-impact spear and later on has a fire attacking power when completing the Oracle challenges. To build the shield at the workbench in the Marketplace area, players will need to locate three parts; The Handle, The Spear, and The Shield. The Handle part will spawn on the upper road near a rock; under, before, or after the bridge. The Spear part will spawn in the Intersection of Treasuries either near a statue, placed on the flower garden bed’s wall, or in the Stoa of the Athenians area on a stone pillar. The Shield part is dropped by a Gegenees enemy when picking up the Golden Bridle of Pegasus during the Pack-A-Punch quest.

The Homunculus is a wonder weapon on Ancient Evil that can be obtained from the mystery box for 950 points. With only 2 charges, only one player in the lobby can have it equipped at a time. The Homunculus can be thrown, which will start yelling and attach itself to zombies while mashing their heads, killing them for about 20 seconds before vanishing.

The Pegasus horse is a mystical creature that can be used by players to travel around the map. Pegasus only becomes available to players after finding the Golden Bridle and then be summoned by the Pegasus Strike.

The Pegasus Strike is a spear-wonder weapon. Players can build the mighty spear and later buy it from the Mystery Box. The Pegasus Strike can be used to summon Pegasus or use it similarly to the Monkey Bomb. Attracting zombies to the lighting it creates, then killing them. Players can also use it to paralyze Blightfathers and Gegenees. To craft the Pegasus Strike, players will have to go the Dark Side of the map to the Cliff Ruins area. Then build it with three parts; Blacksmith Tongs, an Anvil, and a Forge Hammer.

The Musical Easter Egg “Stormbound” can be activated by shooting four colored coins around the map. The blue coin is found in the Marketplace next to a flipped over the table. The green colored coin can be located in the Spartan Monument area in the courtyard by aiming over a bloodied wall to the handrail next to the statue. Thirdly, the purple coin can be found in the River of Sorrows area next to the female statue between the rubble on the left side. Finally, the red coin is located in the Cliff Ruins area by crouching to look under the table in the Forge.

To activate the Main Easter Egg on Ancient Evil complete 2 Oracle Tributes at epic rank by interacting with the Oracle in the spawn room. This will light up the central Apollo’s temple flame blue.
Step 1: Use Apollo’s Will to melee the blue flame to make your spear burn. Light up three oil puddles with your spear in the; Upper Road, Spartan Monument, and Intersection areas of the map.
Step 2: Go to the Spartan Monument area using the Redeemed Hand of Charon. Activate a minigame by using the Hand to shoot the ground. Complete the minigame by shooting the hand of Charon at each of the statues as their eyes glow red.
Step 3: Find and shoot hidden walls in the Intersection of Treasuries, Stoa of Athenians, and Spartan Monument to find four cogwheels. Use your Apollo’s will spear to throw and fix these cogwheels. The cogwheels will rotate the statues at the Stoa of Athenians. Make sure to turn them facing inwards.
Step 4: Find a Gegenees zombie and bring it to the Intersection of Treasuries area to make it shoot the red chaos crystal with its stun ability. Collect the Ankh from the red chaos crystal.
Step 5: Find the Statue of Ra and place the Ankh and the Redeemed Hand of Hemera in the Statue to make a light beam appear. Survive and defend the Statue of Ra from the zombies to complete the ritual.
Step 6: Follow the light beam to find an open chamber. Collect the Scepter of Ra from the blown-out chamber. Go back to the Statue of Ra and place the Scepter in the Statue. Find the Statue of Danu located in the Offering of the Attalids area. And shoot the symbol on the left wall of the statue with the Redeemed hand of Gaia.
Step 7: Continue shooting the symbols as they appear around the walls until a Gegenees boss appears. Kill the Gegennes boss and pick up the dropped staff. Place the staff in the circular dais within the same room. Find an Electric Elemetal Catalyst and bring it to the sundial and kill it there.
Step 8: Once the sundials starting activating, activate it when the dial shows the blue symbol and stop it each time the dial is on the blue symbol. Get all the players in the lobby to have the Redeemed Hands, and go to the Amphitheatre’s small room. Make all players stand in their spots to activate the shooting gallery minigame.
Step 9: Go to each spot as they appear in the Amphitheatre and shoot the zombies with the matching colors of God’s hand. Complete 3 of 5 games and the shooting challenge will be completed.
Step 10: Go to the River of Sorrows and find a door near the weapon wall buy and take note of the symbols in the cutscene. Shoot the order of symbols as seen in the cutscene.
Step 11: Get the player with Stanton’s Shaw to interact with the door and watch another cutscene. Place the Thunder Strike on the blue symbol at the top of the River of Sorrows area.
Step 12: Stand on the blue symbol and use the Redeemed Hand of Ouranos to shoot charged shots at the spawned ballista until it is facing the giant snake.
Step 13: Light up the Apollo’s Will’s spear with blue fire in the spawn room, Then run through the Poison trap in the Python Pass with the shield equipped to make your spear drip with poison.
Step 14: Bash the ballista with the poisoned spear and go to the portal that is now unlocked in the Center of the World area. Have all players use the portal to travel to the final boss arena.
Step 15: Shoot the Pegasus to make it drop to the ground. Shoot the downed Pegasus with your Specialist Super Weapon. Repeat this multiple times to make the arena corrupted.
Step 16: Go to the Column room and fight Perseus by shooting at him. After Perseus has been killed, collect the dropped key and watch the final cutscene, you have completed the Main Easter Egg on Ancient Evil.
