The fan favorite returns, reimagined in a vision of the future! – Nuketown 2025
A small town surrounded by mountains can be seen outside of Nuketown 2025 along with the Nuketown sign, Discover the city of the future! The meter under the sign shows the radiation levels on the map, it starts a 0 and goes to 250 at the end of the match.
By shooting all the mannequins heads off within two minutes of starting the game you can unlock an Easter Egg that changes the Nuketown sign into a retro gaming system. The games that can be played are Activision games from the 80s like Kaboom, Pitfall, H.E.R.O., and River Raid.
The sign from the original Nuketown on Black Ops 1 can be seen upstairs of one of the houses, it also has the double rainbow that’s seen from the original Nuketown also. The other house on the map has an image of the original framed on a shelf on the top floor.
The houses on the map have mailboxes labeled with Mason and Woods, two well-known character’s in the single-player Campaign.
An RC-XD trail on the side of the map can be used to get from one spawn to the other, the trail can be seen under the fence and has a large RC ramp halfway.
At the end of every match you will see a nuke demolish the map, the mushroom cloud can be seen in the street and everything on and around the map flying past the screen.
