Set on a racetrack infield, this small-sized map is the perfect place to get your motor running. Featuring several smaller zones like a Beer Garden, a garage, and an oil fire, overtake your enemies in close-quarters combat. – Crown Raceway
Lots can be seen outside the map, the large Marina Bay has many boats coming and going, and the sky is filled with planes. Players will also see the large Singapore Flyer Faris wheel and the Marina Bay Sands Hotel lighting up the night sky.
The match starts with both teams arriving to the Raceway infield; one team will arrive in the back of a white van while the other team flies in and grapples down from a helicopter.
The map was originally called Marina Bay Grand Prix. The location is based on the Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore. For unknown reasons, the map was renamed Crown Raceway and the location was changed to Southeast Asia before the official game release. The fastest qualifying lap at Marina Bay Street Circuit is 1:36.015, the track is 4.928 km long and features 19 turns.
The map features 6 Formula 1 Indie cars that race laps around the track during the entire match. Players will hear the passing by at high speeds. Formula 1 is the highest class of international racing for open-wheel single-seater formula racing cars in the world.
The cars seen around the map have many different sponsors including Infinity Cola, a reference to the game’s developer Infinity Ward. Other sponsors include Hancock, Kreutzer Consultation, Tanto, Spec Electronics, Synthetic Lubricants, Rohan, Tullis Tires, and many more.
